Had a lovely time speaking at the Crest Theatre at the Old School Square in Delray Beach, Florida yesterday. The audience was the first to see our new short version of the documentary that I have been working on diligently for the past month or so … I put this long overdue job on the back burner along with other projects on my “to do when I have time list” … and now I understand why it was on that list because it took so much time to sort out footage from four different sources and come up with purpose made films and clips to enhance our web site. We are all very excited about the results and you will see them soon on whwf.org. Stay tuned …

Some of my lovely “girls” showed up in Delray Beach, Florida for my lecture.

Gotta Dance might not open in the fall so stay tuned about that news as well ..

SP COLLECTIBLES

Sneak preview of SP Collectibles … active and lounge wear made of health conscious, bio-degradable, non-toxic, bamboo/cotton fabrics that have an anti-bacterial component to place close to your skin which is your body’s largest organ.

I am putting aside my active wear that is largely made of petroleum chemical by-products that when heated by sunshine or heavy exercise must produce an off-gas that cannot possibly be good for you.

More photos to come …

BAFTA AWARDS

On my way back to Los Angeles – it has been a whirlwind week long trip to London.

Here’s a photo out with friends … Stephen Fry, Suzi Digby OBE, the first female Beefeater in the Tower of London and Tim. (Photo taken by Sarah Oliver.)

We attended the ORA Coral Concert at the Royal Chapel of the Tower of London. Suzi’s concert of coral music is inspired by 16th and 17th century work written by a  contemporary composer. Her hope is to one day fund new works based on the themes of classical coral pieces hundreds of years old. The music is transporting – I was thrilled to have had this great experience. What fabulous music!

Oh and by the way, the concert was held in the Royal Chapel where there are many notable people buried,  including Anne Bolin and her head, Oliver Cromwell and Lady Jane Grey.

The pre BAFTA party was held at Kensington Palace – it was very cold and raining and I was happy to get inside after the obligatory pictures.

Sunday was the BAFTA Awards, and it was freezing cold – glad I had my feathers on!

Gotta go, GOTTA DANCE.

Doing A Broadway Musical … Chicago Closing Performance

Here on closing night with Susan Lindstrom who was the winning bidder for tickets to Gotta Dance that will benefit the William Holden Wildlife Foundation. She is a delightful person and we had a lovely time together after the show, and I thank her for her support to the foundation and our work.

Our last show was a joyful performance filled with the exuberance of the final performance that may see the return of some of the cast, but perhaps not all of us,  but it was surely a celebration of all we have been through together and wishing each other all the best in the months to come.

Now I look forward to going home to all my furry friends.

Doing A Broadway Musical … Day 59

Saturday …

Another beautiful bouquet … thank you so much Renee.

IMG_0905

Tomorrow is our last show in Chicago so it will be a rather frantic period of time, but I will have the great pleasure of meeting Susan Lindstrom who was the winning bid on Charity Buzz where we auctioned two tickets to Gotta Dance and some private time with me after the show, so there won’t be a blog tomorrow but I will send a photo of Susan whose generosity will help our work at the William Holden Wildlife Foundation.

By popular demand I will be continuing with the blog … thank you all for your enthusiastic responses.

Gotta go, GOTTA DANCE.

We have three more shows to do and then we put the baby to bed for a while. But if you like I can carry on with the blog which has now become a habit for me, so please let me know.

Gotta go, GOTTA DANCE.
